It was a day filled with unending joy for 21 year old
Miss Boluwatife Oyekan as she was announced as the
best graduating student at the third convocation
ceremony of Caleb University, Imota, last saturday.
Boluwatife made a CG of 4.75
Boluwatife who studied Industrial chemistry
attributed her success to strong determination and
being able to shun distractions.
“I never gave room for any distraction. One, I did not
get involved in any amorous affair with the
opposite sex. Again, I developed a workable reading
time table for myself; and I kept to it.” She
explained.
Speaking further, Boluwatife said that the wise
counsel she got from the former Dean of her
department, Prof Olukayode Ajayi, also helped her a
great deal.
“The dean counselled me on my first day in school
and also told me about his own undergraduate days
and how he managed his time. That really helped
me a lot.” She said.
